Multi-Level, Multi-Stakeholder Frameworks for Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Accountability: Background and development

This report provides information on the work of the Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Accountability (QAMA) cluster. It presents the conceptual background and evidence for the purpose and development of a framework for quality assurance, monitoring and accountability.

The report presents QAMA’s exploration of the aspects needed to create and sustain an effective and coherent system of continuous improvement and accountability, and their role within a system framework. It also presents a new framework that incorporates these key aspects for an effective and coherent system for continuous improvement in inclusive education systems.

The Multi-Level, Multi-Stakeholder Frameworks for Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Accountability: Guidelines for use complement this document, providing examples and reflections on the framework development and its uses. Additional documents and resources linked to the framework are available on the QAMA web area.
