Showcasing real stories: Inclusive Education in Action

The Inclusive Education in Action (IEA) website highlights innovative approaches to inclusive education from across the world. A joint initiative of UNESCO and EASNIE, IEA offers a rich library of case studies and resources for education stakeholders across four core themes: policy initiatives, curriculum development, learning environments and professional development.

The case studies showcase real examples of inclusive education from around the world, demonstrating how schools, communities and policy-makers are working together to create more equitable learning environments. Organisations and education stakeholders are invited to submit their own stories to add to the growing library of inclusive policy and practice examples.

Alongside the case studies, IEA provides useful inclusive education resources, including reports, practical tools, guidelines and other publications from EASNIE, UNESCO and other organisations.

A new video introduces the IEA website and explains how education stakeholders can contribute to expand the platform’s global collection of real stories of inclusive practice and help build a worldwide movement for more inclusive learning.

Visit the IEA website for more information or to explore the case studies and resources. EASNIE’s YouTube channel contains more video content, including the on-going #InclusionTalks webinar series.
