The Changing Role of Specialist Provision in Supporting Inclusive Education (CROSP) project focused on the re-organisation of specialist provision to support the right to inclusive education for all learners. Phase 2 of CROSP involved developing a roadmap for changing the role of specialist provision.
This Policy Self-Review Tool is the main outcome of phase 2. The tool is for policy-makers at national/regional/local level, as well as decision-makers and professionals at school level. It aims to enable them to reflect and develop a continuum of support for inclusive education. It builds upon the strengths and weaknesses of the support that specialist provision provides to mainstream schools for implementing inclusive education for all learners.
Download the tool below as a PDF in English or as an open-source Word file in 25 languages. Users are encouraged to build upon and adapt the tool to their own national contexts, with appropriate credit to the Agency.
